Eric Schwartzman [PHOTO] has over 20 years experience helping B2Bs, entertainment companies, multinationals, multilaterals, global nonprofits, the military, federal government agencies and foreign governments leverage technology for marketing and communications.
Currently, he is vice president at Howard Industries Center for Digital Innovation, where he is responsible for demand generation, search engine optimization, email marketing, and marketing automation.
Prior to that, he was a principal at Comply Socially, which helped McKesson, the US Dept. of State, Discovery Education, Yahama and others use digital communications effectively at large-scale organizations.
He was also principal iPRSoftware, a software-as-a-service provider that leases access to a proprietary, cloud-based content management system. iPressroom helps nontechnical personnel at clients including American Heart Association, City National Bank, Linkedin, Target, UCLA, Yahoo!, Xerox and others manage the online newsroom section of their corporate website. He sold majority interest in 2011 and remains a shareholder and adviser.
Mr. Schwartzman is also the best-selling coauthor of Social Marketing to the Business Customer, has been chairing professional development seminars and conferences all over the world on the use of digital technologies for marketing and communications since 2004 and is the top-rated emerging technologies instructor for the Public Relations Society of America.
Prior to iPressroom, he ran an independent public relations agency, handling campaigns for the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears World Tour, the Olympics, Cirque du Soleil, Lucasfilm and others. He earned his public relations pedigree at Rogers & Cowan, a Weber Shandwick Agency, where he served as director of promotions, supervising campaigns for AOL, Microsoft, Marriott and managing talent relations at The Academy Awards®, The Emmy Awards and The Grammy Awards.
Before that, he was VP of marketing at Laser Storm where he developed and promoted arcade games based on entertainment properties such as X-MEN and Stargate, oversaw investor relations before, during and after the company’s successful public offering on the NASDAQ exchange and managed a sizable, global trade show exhibition calendar.
